Heuristic Atlantica Research Program (HARP)

Heuristic Atlantica Research Program (HARP) is a think tank and research initiative that was started by disaffected former Lyra Enterprises executives and underrepresented personnel. The purpose of HARP is to improve Atlantican lives through the invention of new technologies, brought about through base-rate heuristic research and development, and to protect the Atlantica System from any potential future threats.

The HARP home base is Planemo Harp, and its Condor Asteroid Moon, located in the Atlantica Outer Rim, a region of the Atlantica Asteroid Belt.

Victor “Vulture” Vega is the first HARP president, and former Lyra Enterprises Vice President. His descendants have inherited his HARP presidency. HARP teams consists of former Lyra Enterprises researchers, engineers, scientists, and other support personnel, their descendants, and Pacifica Alliance collaborators.

Physical Locations

  2. The HARP Research stations are located in the Atlantica Asteroid Belt, and sometimes illegally in Atlantica Federation and Pacifica Alliance space.
  3. The HARP Development stations are located on the Condor Asteroid Moon, in case of any catastrophic experimental failures.

Relationship to the Atlantica Federation

After various media outlets revealed that Heuristic Atlantica Research Program (HARP) was responsible for the creation of chimera and rogue drones, the Atlantica Federation unanimously expelled HARP from Federation space as an illegal organization.

Relationship to Lyra Enterprises

A group of disaffected Lyra Enterprises executives, researchers, engineers, scientists, and other support personnel left the company and formed a heuristics think tank and research initiative called Heuristic Atlantica Research Program (HARP).
